Si como yo aún siguen llenando sus arcas después de un viaje o los regalos navideños, entonces la sola idea de adquirir nuevo vestuario para el verano hará temblar sus billeteras o en mi caso, mi ojo izquierdo. En fin, en la mañana estaba en pleno marmoteo navideño cuando decidí que era momento de guardar todo lo de invierno para dar paso a las faldas y otras prendas ligeras para la temporada. Fue entonces que vi mi colección de jeans: más de 10 pares, muchos de los cuales dejé de usar en julio debido a que desde ese entonces no he parado de subir de peso. Pero ese sera tema de otro post, no voy a desviarme. El punto es que, antes de pensar en botarlos, se me ocurrió una brillante idea: cortarlos. Resultado: ¡denim shorts nuevos! ¡Sí!

If like me still filling their coffers after a trip or the holidays, then the thought of acquiring new wardrobe for summer will shake your wallets or in my case, my left eye. Anyway,  I was spending my Christmas lying in bed when I decided it was time to put away all winter cloths to make way for light skirts and other garments for the season. Then I saw my collection of jeans: More than 10 pairs, many of which I stopped using in July because since then I have not stopped gaining weight. But that will be the subject of another post, I will not deviate. The point is that, before thinking of throwing them away, I came up with a brilliant idea: cut them. Result: new denim shorts! Yay! 

Finalmente, con los alfileres saqué los hilos de los bordes para darle un efecto "desgarrado" al short. ¿Qué les parece? ¡Pronto les muestro cómo quedaron mis nuevos shorts!
